So this week my two oldest are at our church's jr. camp - they've been gone since Monday morning, coming back in Friday night. While the big kids are away, it is giving me some much appreciated time with my Littles. We've gone swimming, played Wii (Katie was pretty excited about that) and today we're sitting and doing some Fairy Tale crafts. The story we're doing is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It's proving to be quite entertaining to hear the story from their perspective. Here's just some of the comments that are coming from discussing the story?
Me: Do you think Goldilocks felt bad about breaking the bears' things?
Katie: Yeah.
Me: Did she say sorry?
Katie: No. She can't speak Bear.
***********************
Me: What happened when the bears came home?
Katie: They FREAKED!
**********************
Me: Megan, how did Goldilocks feel when she saw the bears?
Megan: Mad, no, sad.
Me: Why was she sad?
Megan: Because her didn't like bears.
**********************
Katie: (pretending to be Goldilocks) My mom doesn't want me to come into your house because....um.....she doesn't like bears.

I love my kids' imaginations!!!!
